We are a team of passionate Australian gamers dedicated to delivering honest, in-depth game reviews and comprehensive esports coverage to the gaming community.
PixelCharge was founded in Melbourne in 2021 by a group of friends who were frustrated by the lack of genuinely Australian-focused gaming media. Too many reviews were written for international audiences, ignoring the unique aspects of gaming in Australia — from local server availability to regional esports scenes.
We set out to change that. Starting as a small blog, PixelCharge has grown into one of Australia's most trusted gaming platforms, with a dedicated team of reviewers, esports journalists, and community managers spread across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth.
Our editorial policy is simple: we play every game we review for a minimum of 20 hours before publishing, we never accept payment for reviews, and we always disclose when a review copy was provided by a publisher.

Everything we do at PixelCharge is guided by these principles.
We never accept payment for reviews. Every score and opinion is 100% our own, based on genuine gameplay experience.
We review games through the lens of Australian players — server quality, regional pricing, local community, and more.
We cover Australian esports with the same depth and professionalism as international outlets cover global events.
Our readers are our community. We actively incorporate reader feedback, host community events, and champion grassroots gaming.
We go beyond surface-level impressions. Our reviews explore mechanics, narrative, accessibility, and long-term replayability.
We believe gaming is for everyone. Our coverage celebrates diversity in games, developers, and the gaming community.
